DOMESTIC HUMAN TRAFFICKING

One of the greatest scandles is that American children are victims of Human Trafficking.  Very little is done to help these children because most of the human trafficking efforts are to address the victims of International Trafficking.  According to the Polaris Project," one of the largest forms of domestic sex trafficking in the U.S. involves traffickers who coerce women and children to enter the commercial sex industry through the use of a variety of recruitment and control mechanisms in strip clubs, street-based prostitution, escort services, and brothels.  Domestic sex traffickers, commonly referred to as pimps, particularly target vulnerable youth, such as runaway and homeless youth, and reinforce the reality that the average age of entry into prostitution is 12-13 years old in the U.S.  Sex trafficking victims, on average, are first exploited by their trafficker at the age of  13. People don't believe that in happens here, in Fort Worth, Texas, yet it does every single day.  We need to rise up and say  Not here, not in my town and protect these children from those who prey on them.
'Another way of being trafficked is to work for a pimp.  Women are not free if they are being beaten, threatened or forced into prostitution.  Sometimes the chains are invisible.

Traffick 911 is planning to open a home for juvenile victims of sex trafficking here in North Texas.  Their website is www.traffick911.org

Born To Party has partnered to open a home for women without children leaving the sex industry and we are in the process of opening another house for women with children leaving the business.  If you want out, we will help you!  Call for more information  817-495-7600.
